Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Diploma in Civil/Landscape/Irrigation engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of BIM Modeler experience with irrigation systems for UAE projects.
• Proficiency in Revit (MEP/Landscape), AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with UAE standards and BEP/ISO 19650 workflows is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for irrigation networks (pipes, valves, sprinklers, drip lines, controllers, pumps).
• Translate 2D irrigation drawings and hydraulic calculations into 3D models.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with landscape, civil, MEP, and utility models using Navisworks.
• Produce irrigation shop drawings, sections, and details per BEP requirements.
• Maintain BIM standards, libraries, and irrigation component parameters.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced BIM Modeler – Irrigation to develop accurate 3D BIM models for irrigation systems on UAE-based landscape and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong technical modeling skills combined with a solid understanding of irrigation design principles, UAE utility standards, and coordination with landscape, civil, and MEP disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for irrigation networks, including pipework, valves, sprinklers, drip lines, controllers, and pump stations, using Revit/Civil 3D or equivalent BIM software.
• Translate 2D irrigation design drawings and hydraulic calculations into coordinated 3D models.
• Conduct clash detection and coordination with landscape, civil, MEP, and utility models using Navisworks.
• Produce and maintain irrigation shop drawings, sections, and details in line with project BIM execution plans (BEP).
• Ensure models align with UAE municipality/authority standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality, RTA, relevant developer specifications).
• Maintain BIM model standards, family libraries, and parameters specific to irrigation components.
• Support quantity take-offs and material schedules extracted from BIM models.
• Coordinate with irrigation design engineers, landscape architects, and site teams to resolve design discrepancies.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and update models based on design changes and RFIs.
• Maintain version control and documentation per project BIM protocols.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, Irrigation/Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, with dedicated experience on irrigation systems for UAE projects.
• Proficiency in Revit (MEP/Landscape workflows), AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
• Sound knowledge of irrigation system components, hydraulics, and UAE landscape/irrigation design standards.
• Experience working within BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ISO 19650 workflows preferred.
• UAE experience is mandatory; prior work with contracting or landscape/irrigation subcontracting firms is an advantage.
