Job summary

Dow Jones in Dubai seeks an intelligence analyst on Dragonfly's MENA desk for a full-time position based in Dubai. The analyst will work 40 hours a week with potential extra hours and occasional international travel, under a hybrid working policy.

You will perform desk-based open source research, produce political and security risk assessments, and deliver reports and briefings to clients and prospects. You may mentor other analysts and build valuable sources for ongoing risk coverage.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in security analysis, political risk research or crisis risk management.
• Strong knowledge of political and security developments in the MENA region.
• Experience in providing responsive client service and maintaining relationships.
• Honest, curious, able to reason with evidence.
• Knowledge of regional languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct desk-based open source research and produce political, security and geopolitical risk assessments.
• Prepare and deliver reports, presentations and briefings for clients and other audiences.
