The Mechanical Inspector will provide field-based quality oversight throughout installation, testing, commissioning, and project completion.
The role focuses on ensuring HVAC, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and associated building services are installed correctly, tested thoroughly, and documented in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Consistent inspection and early identification of defects will help reduce rework, protect project schedules, and improve long-term system reliability.
The inspector will coordinate closely with contractors, engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues while maintaining clear records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
Candidates should have at least 6 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection, construction supervision, quality assurance, or a closely related construction discipline.
Strong practical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing installations, mechanical equipment, testing procedures, and building services coordination is essential.
Candidates should also understand UAE construction codes, building regulations, recognized international standards, and construction safety requirements.
Proficiency in blueprint interpretation, technical documentation, CAD software, inspection applications, and digital record management is important.
Experience using project management software and scheduling tools will provide additional value.
The role requires proven supervisory capability and the confidence to assess contractor workmanship, identify deficiencies, recommend corrective measures, and make sound technical decisions independently in the field.
Professional certification in mechanical inspection, construction quality assurance, or a related discipline is preferred.
Strong English communication is required, while Arabic language capability will be considered an advantage.
