The Mechanical Inspector will monitor mechanical installations throughout construction, testing, commissioning, and completion stages. The position helps ensure HVAC, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and associated systems are installed correctly and perform as intended before final acceptance. Through regular inspections, detailed documentation, contractor supervision, and timely corrective action, the role helps protect construction quality, reduce rework, maintain compliance, and support reliable building system performance. Close coordination with engineers, project managers, contractors, and site teams will be essential to resolving technical issues without disrupting project progress.
Candidates should have at least 6 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection, construction quality assurance, site supervision, or a related construction discipline. Strong practical understanding of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical equipment, building services, and construction inspection procedures is essential. Candidates should also be familiar with UAE construction codes, building regulations, and applicable international standards. Proficiency in blueprint reading, technical documentation, CAD software, inspection applications, and digital data management tools is important. Experience working with construction project management software and scheduling platforms will provide additional value. The role requires strong supervisory capability and the confidence to assess site conditions independently, identify deficiencies, recommend corrective action, and communicate decisions clearly to contractors and project teams. Professional certification in mechanical inspection or construction quality assurance is preferred. Strong English communication is required, while Arabic language capability will be considered an advantage.
