Role Context

The Electrical Inspector supports construction quality by independently examining electrical systems at key stages of project delivery. The position focuses on confirming that wiring, distribution equipment, grounding systems, protective devices and associated installations are completed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications and applicable electrical standards. By maintaining accurate inspection records and working closely with contractors, engineers and project teams, the inspector helps prevent defects, reduce rework and ensure that completed building systems are safe, compliant and ready for commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical inspections during rough-in, installation, trim-out and final construction stages.
• Review electrical works against approved drawings, project specifications, UAE requirements and applicable IEC standards.
• Inspect wiring systems, distribution panels, circuits, grounding arrangements, protective devices and associated electrical components.
• Use appropriate testing equipment to assess installation quality, safety and technical compliance.
• Record inspection findings accurately and prepare detailed reports for project documentation.
• Identify non-compliant work, installation defects and code violations before they affect later construction activities.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to contractors, engineers and project management teams.
• Recommend corrective measures where deficiencies are identified and verify completed remedial work.

Ideal Profile
