Job summary

KEO Group in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Mechanical Inspector with a strong track record in on-site inspections for complex infrastructure projects. The role focuses on ensuring quality and compliance across mechanical trades on our Dubai project.

You will perform inspections per ITPs, monitor HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting systems, prepare reports, and coordinate with contractors to resolve issues. A Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 8 years of experience in Dubai-based

Qualifications

• 8 years of work experience in mechanical engineering or related roles.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in Dubai-based infrastructure projects, especially landscaping, water bodies, pump rooms and swimming pools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of mechanical works on site per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Monitor installation activities related to HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Prepare inspection reports, snag lists, and daily progress updates.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Verifying, testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Mechanical Inspector to join our team based on our project in Dubai, UAE. This position is responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the mechanical related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Carrying out inspections of mechanical works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Monitoring installation activities related to HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Ensuring works are executed in compliance with quality, safety, and authority requirements.
• Conducting material inspections and review method statements and inspection requests.
• Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Preparing inspection reports, snag lists, and daily progress updates.
• Verifying, testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 8 years work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience in Dubai-based infrastructure projects, particularly in the construction of landscaping, water bodies, pump rooms, and swimming pools, is essential for this role.
