Job summary

KEO Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join our Abu Dhabi project team. You will conduct on-site inspections of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and related mechanical works in line with ITPs and project standards.

The ideal candidate has 9 years of mechanical engineering experience, a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, UAE experience, and strong communication to coordinate with contractors and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and 9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience on villa, residential, or community development projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and related systems.
• UAE experience and familiarity with Abu Dhabi standards required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out inspections of mechanical works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project standards.
• Monitoring installation activities related to HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Ensuring works comply with quality, safety and authority requirements.
• Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Preparing inspection reports, snag lists and daily progress updates.
• Verifying, testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Mechanical Inspector to join our team based on our project in Abu Dubai, UAE. This position is responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the mechanical related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Carrying out inspections of mechanical works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Monitoring installation activities related to HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Ensuring works are executed in compliance with quality, safety, and authority requirements.
• Conducting material inspections and review method statements and inspection requests.
• Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Preparing inspection reports, snag lists, and daily progress updates.
• Verifying, testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 9 years of professional experience partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Furthermore:

• Previous experience on villa, residential, or community development projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and infrastructure-related mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi standards and authority regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• UAE experience is mandatory.
