Job summary

KEO International Consultants in Dubai seeks a Civil Inspector to join our award-winning team. Attend to inspection requests, review shop drawings, and ensure works meet contract drawings, local codes, and international best practice.

You’ll monitor quality, safety and environmental issues on site, maintain daily records with photos, and provide timely technical input to resolve discipline-related issues. The ideal candidate has 5 years of site experience and a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in

• 5 years of site-based civil engineering experience.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Strong inspection, drawing review and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and act promptly.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings, codes and best practice.
• Report works not in accordance with drawings to stakeholders.
• Monitor quality and safety on site, ensuring contractual compliance.
• Maintain daily activity records and progress photos for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance and NCR reports as events develop.
• Coordinate between disciplines and provide technical input on site issues.
• Ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Civil Inspector to join our award winning team:

• Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
• Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Preparing surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Checking and ensuring effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
• Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise

Qualifications
