Job summary

WINTER Refrigeration in Dubai is seeking a Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering team. You will create and modify 2D and 3D drawings, develop layouts from P&IDs, and coordinate with engineers to ensure accuracy.

The role requires a degree in mechanical drafting or a related field and 2–4 years of AutoCAD experience, with strong skills in AutoCAD 2D/3D and reading technical drawings. UAE experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of AutoCAD Draftsman experience in mechanical/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings, layouts and fabrication drawings.
• Develop drawings based on P&IDs, specifications and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers and other departments for accuracy.
• Revise drawings per engineering comments and project needs.
• Prepare detailed drawings for fabrication and manufacturing.
• Maintain documentation and drawing records.

WINTER Refrigeration, a UAE-based manufacturer of industrial refrigeration and mechanical equipment, is looking for a Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering team in Dubai.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings, layouts, and fabrication drawings.
• Develop drawings based on P&IDs, specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers and other departments to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Revise drawings according to engineering comments and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings for fabrication and manufacturing.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
• Experience in mechanical, industrial equipment, skid/package, or fabrication drawings is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• UAE experience is an advantage.
