Job summary

WINTER REFRIGERATION Industrial Equipment Manufacturing LLC in Dubai seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to design skid packages and refrigeration systems, and prepare detailed drawings. You will create layouts and ensure accuracy of specifications while collaborating with project teams.

You will use AutoCAD and SolidWorks, review specs, coordinate with production and project teams, and produce BOMs and as-built documentation for on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant mechanical design/drafting experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and SolidWorks.
• Understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Experience in industrial refrigeration, HVAC, MEP, piping, skid packages or oil & gas is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical skid packages and refrigeration systems.
• Prepare detailed 2D/3D engineering and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
• Develop GA drawings shop fabrication drawings P&IDs and PFDs.
• Perform design calculations for dimensions, weights, materials and equipment requirements.
• Prepare and verify Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Review project specifications, drawings and technical requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Fabrication and Project teams.
• Prepare as-built drawings and final engineering documentation.
• Ensure designs meet project specifications and applicable engineering standards.

• Prepare detailed 2D 3D engineering and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD amp SolidWorks
• Develop GA drawings shop fabrication drawings P amp IDs and PFDs
• Perform design calculations for dimensions weights materials and equipment requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCED

• Diploma / Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Good understanding of mechanical fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
