Job summary

The Cigna Group in Dubai seeks a strategic Head of Legal for the Middle East and Africa to steer complex, multi-jurisdictional matters and align legal risk with business objectives across MEA.

You will lead a growing legal team, advise senior leaders, manage external counsel on major contracts and disputes, and champion ethics and regulatory compliance in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years post-qualification legal experience.
• 4 years in an international law firm.
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills for complex agreements.
• Solid understanding of Middle East regulatory framework.
• Ability to lead senior stakeholders in a multi-cultural, multi-country setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as Head of Legal for Cigna MEA and influence business leaders on legal and regulatory matters.
• Provide timely, accurate legal updates to MEA senior leadership.
• Support, coach and develop the MEA legal team.
• Draft, review and advise on contracts, group plans and distribution agreements.
• Manage claims, litigation and dispute resolution.
• Champion the Cigna Ethics program.
