Job summary

The Cigna Group in Dubai seeks a seasoned Head of MEA Legal to lead the regional legal team and provide timely, proportionate advice to support business objectives across the MEA region. Based in Dubai, you will work with senior leaders, regulators and external advisers to shape strategy and ensure compliance within a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

You will coach and develop the MEA legal team, manage major multi-party transactions, draft complex agreements, and act as a trusted partner

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years post-qualification legal experience
• Experience in international law firms
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills for multi-party transactions
• Excellent leadership and people development abilities
• Proven ability to engage with senior leadership and external counsel
• Solid understanding of Middle East regulatory frameworks

Responsibilities

• Act as Head of Legal for MEA and lead the regional team
• Define and support strategic business objectives within legal boundaries
• Provide timely updates on key legal developments to MEA leadership
• Coach and develop MEA legal team to maintain high performance
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and group agreements
• Manage claims, litigation and regulatory risk
• Be a champion for ethics and compliance programs
