The Cigna Group is seeking a Head of MEA Legal in Dubai to lead a high‑performing regional legal team. The role requires shaping legal strategy, providing timely regulatory advice, and partnering with senior leaders to support ambitious growth in the MEA market.

You will manage complex transactions, coach lawyers, and drive compliance across multiple jurisdictions, while collaborating with regulators and global counterparts to uphold The Cigna Group’s standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification experience practising law, with at least 4 years in an international law firm.
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills across complex agreements.
• Strong ability to interact with senior leadership, external counsel and stakeholders.
• Solid experience running multi‑party transactions and managing regulatory matters.
• Proven people management, coaching and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Head of Legal for Cigna MEA, leading the MEA Legal team from Dubai.
• Provide timely, concise updates to MEA senior leadership on legal developments affecting the business.
• Coach and develop the MEA legal team to maintain high performance and engagement.
• Advise on contracts, group plans, partnerships, NDAs and distribution agreements while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage claims, litigation and dispute resolution; escalate as needed and document decisions.
• Champion the Cigna Ethics program and ensure regulatory adherence across MEA operations.
