Job summary

Cigna in Dubai seeks Head of MEA Legal to lead the regional legal function, shaping strategy and providing timely regulatory advice to support growth across the Middle East and Africa.

You will partner with senior leaders, coach the MEA legal team, manage complex contracts and disputes, and ensure compliance within a fast‑paced, multi‑cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years post‑qualification legal experience, with at least 4 years in an international law firm.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and interact with senior leadership.
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills for complex contracts.
• Strong understanding of Middle East regulatory and legal frameworks.
• Experience with ethics programs and compliance.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, multi‑cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as Head of Legal for Cigna MEA.
• Influence and collaborate with leadership to define and support MEA objectives.
• Provide timely updates on legal developments to MEA senior leadership.
• Coach and develop the MEA legal team.
• Draft, review and advise on contracts, NDAs, group plans and distribution agreements.
• Manage claims, litigation and dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance and ethical standards within MEA operations.
