Black and Grey HR, a leading provider in building materials staffing, is hiring a Material Lab Consultant – Marble Division to engage showroom visitors, understand project requirements, and convert enquiries into sales.

In this customer-facing role, you will advise on marble options, coordinate with production for orders, and strive to meet individual and team targets while maintaining high showroom standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in marble, natural stone, interior materials, or showroom sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling abilities.
• Knowledge of marble varieties, finishes, and applications is preferred.
• Commercially driven with a proactive and service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Engage with showroom visitors and understand residential or commercial project requirements.
• Advise clients on marble and natural stone options, including varieties, finishes, applications, and suitability.
• Handle enquiries, prepare quotations, follow up with prospects, and drive sales conversions.
• Develop strong product knowledge and stay informed about pricing, availability, and market trends.
• Coordinate with production and operations teams on customized orders, fabrication, cutting, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure marble samples, displays, and showroom presentation are maintained to a high standard.
• Build long-term client relationships and generate repeat and referral business.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets.
