The role covers the full lifecycle from technical shop drawings and factory fabrication to precise site execution, ensuring structural stability and premium aesthetic quality.

You will review drawings, optimize cutting lists, supervise installation of premium marble flooring, wall cladding and countertops, and manage material take-offs and BOQ

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in high-end stone/marble or interior fit-out projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with MS Excel for quantity estimations.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineer specializing in marble and natural stone works. You will manage the entire lifecycle of high-end stone installations from technical shop drawings and factory fabrication to precise site execution. The ideal candidate ensures structural stability, minimizes material wastage and maintains premium aesthetic quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Shop Drawings Review drawings Analyze architectural layouts to ensure stone patterns and joints align with design intent Create cutting lists Translate final site dimensions into exact production layouts to optimize slab usage Coordinate details Resolve structural anchoring details for heavy mechanical stone cladding systems
• Factory Site Operations Manage installation Supervise site teams installing premium marble flooring wall cladding and countertops Oversee dry-lays Coordinate factory floor layouts to inspect vein matching and color tone before site delivery Enforce fixing methods Direct dry mechanical fixing wet mortar applications and chemical adhesive bonding
• Quality Quantity Control Inspect material Approve incoming raw slabs checking for structural fissures natural defects and finishes Track quantities Conduct precise material take-offs and manage bills of quantities (BOQ) to control costs Rectify defects Manage on-site stone restoration including polishing grouting and repairing transit damages

Job Requirements

• Education Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Experience Minimum 3 5 years of experience in high-end stone marble or interior fit-out projects
• Software Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD familiarity with MS Excel for quantity estimations
• Skills Deep knowledge of natural stone grading physical properties and installation techniques

Technical Expertise & Qualifications

• Education Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
• Industry Experience Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated experience handling marble, granite, and high-end natural stone works.
• Technical Drawing Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD to review structural details, joint alignments, and design shop drawings.
• Stone Technology Strong understanding of stone fixing methodologies, including dry mechanical cladding, anchoring systems, and wet fixes.
• Material Knowledge Sound capability to judge marble types, natural variations, vein matching, structural cracks, and finishes.
• Operational & Mathematical Skills Estimation Skills: Proven capability to perform highly accurate material take-offs and manage bills of quantities (BOQ).
• Optimization Mentality Deep expertise in calculating precise stone "cutting lists" to maximize slab usage and reduce expensive waste.
• Site Management Experience managing site subcontractors, installation labor, factory fabricators, and delivery logistics.
