Job summary

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair in Dubai are seeking a Massage Therapist to recommend and apply body conditioning treatments and massages for Guests and leisure club Members.

The role focuses on providing high-quality massage services, maintaining hygienic treatment rooms, and guiding clients through exercise and wellness programs while adhering to safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferred.
• Certification in the disciplines is preferred.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Ability to promote positive relations with all hotel guests & colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Massage body, using kneading, rubbing and stroking techniques to stimulate blood circulation and relax muscles.
• Administer steam or dry heat, ultraviolet, infrared or water treatments on request.
• Provide directions to clients in activities such as reducing or remedial exercises.
• Record treatments furnished to customers.
• Ensure treatment rooms are tidy and stocked with towels, candles, oils, etc.
• Aware of how to make reservations for massage and other treatment packages.
• Perform duties in a professional manner to the full satisfaction of the Guests.
• Understand the club facilities and the price of memberships.
• Observe high standards of personal hygiene.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as environment.
• Comply with hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.

The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

Job Description

As a Massage Therapist you will be recommending and applying body conditioning treatments and massages to the Guests or leisure club members.

What You Will Be Doing

Visa Requirements

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
