Job Description: Cluster Marketing Manager

This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Residence Inn. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from Marriott International Inc. They control all employment policies, including hiring, firing, staffing, and benefits. Employment at this hotel is through the franchisee, not Marriott International Inc.

The Cluster Marketing Manager at Marriott is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the hotel, enhance brand awareness, drive revenue, and ensure guest engagement. The role involves collaborating with sales, operations, and external partners to deliver targeted marketing campaigns aligned with Marriott’s standards and business objectives.

  1. Develop and implement local and regional marketing plans to attract target markets and increase occupancy.
  2. Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
  3. Coordinate with the sales team to develop promotional activities and special offers.
  4. Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
  5. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics; adjust strategies to optimize results.
  6. Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and media for effective campaign execution.
  7. Coordinate events and community involvement activities to promote the property.
  8. Ensure all marketing efforts adhere to Marriott’s brand standards and policies.
  9. Prepare budgets and manage expenses related to marketing activities.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities.
