Job summary

edari in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Market Intelligence Manager to join its Strategy & Growth function. You will lead research across local and international markets, turning data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

The role focuses on market trends, competitor activity, demand and pricing analysis, plus opportunity briefs and leadership reports. You will collaborate with Strategy, Commercial, Sustainability and Operations to guide growth.

Qualifications

• Experience within waste management, infrastructure, utilities, environmental services sector is mandatory.
• 7+ years’ experience within market intelligence, market research, strategy, commercial intelligence or a related analytical role.
• Strong experience analysing markets, competitors, customers, demand, pricing and industry trends.
• Ability to take complex data and turn it into clear, decision-ready insights and recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting capability.
• Experience working within a large, complex or multi-entity organisation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline; a relevant Master’s degree or professional qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing market intelligence research across local, regional and international markets.
• Conducting market studies, competitor analysis, demand assessments and pricing analysis.
• Monitoring sector trends, regulatory developments and emerging market opportunities.
• Identifying potential growth areas, market risks and changes in the competitive landscape.
• Translating data and research into clear commercial and strategic recommendations.
• Preparing market opportunity briefs, leadership insight packs, dashboards and decision materials.
• Partnering with Strategy, Commercial, Sustainability, Innovation and Operations teams.
