Job summary

VAVE. The Space Experience Design Company in Dubai is seeking a Business Development Assistant who speaks Mandarin and communicates with English proficiency to support client engagement and proposal development.

Based in Dubai, you will coordinate with our teams in Dubai, Germany, and China, manage schedules, assist with RFI/RFP processes, translations, and CRM data, and help move opportunities toward project kick-off.

Qualifications

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and confident business English with professional writing.
• University degree in business, marketing, communication or related field.
• 1–3 years in business development, sales support, project coordination or client service.
• Exceptional organisation and attention to detail in documents, data, and formatting.

Responsibilities

• BD & workflow support: Coordinate schedules, track tasks and follow-ups, keep open opportunities transparent, and apply and improve our internal new business workflow.
• Client communication: Serve as first point of contact for Chinese-speaking clients and partners, handling correspondence in Mandarin in coordination with management.
• RFI / RFP support: Maintain company credentials, references and certificates for fast RFI turnaround; prepare, format and assemble proposal documents while tracking submission requirements and deadlines.
• Translation & localisation: Adapt proposals, presentations and correspondence between Chinese and English with accuracy and the right tone.
• CRM & reporting: Keep client and supplier records, activity logs and contact data accurate; support debriefs, new business evaluations and executive summaries for the board.
• Meetings, travel & cross-office coordination: Manage schedules, document results and action items, support client visits, trips and events, and liaise between our Dubai, Germany and China teams across time zones.
