Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily procurement execution across assigned markets, covering CAPEX and OPEX purchasing activities.
• Maintain procurement delivery continuity during business expansion, high-demand cycles, leave periods, or capability gaps.
• Balance workload across country teams to ensure RFQs, tenders, supplier negotiations, approvals, and purchase activities are completed on time.
• Act as the main escalation point for operational procurement matters across assigned markets.
• Coordinate with regional category leads when specialized supplier, category, or commercial support is required.
• Ensure procurement policies, trackers, reporting frameworks, and governance standards are applied consistently across markets.
• Review procurement documentation, approval records, commercial evaluations, and supplier files for accuracy and compliance.
• Standardize ways of working across countries to reduce inefficiencies, repeated errors, process delays, and unnecessary rework.
• Monitor procurement delivery performance and identify operational risks, supplier issues, process gaps, or documentation weaknesses.
• Implement corrective actions that protect business continuity and improve procurement execution discipline.
• Design and deliver procurement training programs to strengthen team capability and reduce skill gaps.
• Lead onboarding, coaching, and knowledge-sharing initiatives for procurement team members across markets.
• Provide people leadership for country procurement teams, including development planning, performance reviews, and day-to-day guidance.
• Support better cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance, legal, and supply chain teams.
• Use ERP and procurement systems to manage procurement data, reporting, trackers, and operational visibility.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in procurement and project management.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
• Minimum 4 years of procurement experience within the Middle East or MENA region.
• Strong understanding of supplier markets, regulatory environments, and business practices across UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, and Oman.
• Proven experience managing multi-country procurement operations and balancing priorities across different markets.
• Strong background in operational procurement, including RFQs, tendering, commercial evaluations, contract execution, supplier negotiations, and procurement documentation.
• Experience handling CAPEX and OPEX procurement categories in a structured business environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement governance, compliance, audit requirements, approval frameworks, and documentation standards.
• Able to lead, coach, and develop procurement teams while improving performance and operational discipline.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with operations, finance, legal, and supply chain stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to maintain accuracy during periods of business growth or high workload.
