Job summary

Khazna Data Centers in Abu Dhabi seeks a Manager – Mechanical Implementation to oversee delivery of HVAC, cooling, chillers and piping across data center projects. You will ensure designs, quality, safety, and schedule compliance while coordinating contractors, consultants and internal teams through construction, commissioning and handover.

The role requires strong mechanical engineering background, 8+ years in data centers or critical infrastructure, and proven ability to manage interfaces,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering or project implementation experience.
• Experience in data centers, mission-critical, industrial, or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, and mechanical installations.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Strong contractor management, technical review, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective planning, coordination, stakeholder management, and collaboration.
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical implementation across data center projects.
• Oversee HVAC, cooling, chilled water, ventilation, pumps, and piping systems.
• Monitor site progress and resolve implementation issues.
• Review mechanical drawings and technical submissions.
• Review method statements and material submissions.
• Coordinate mechanical interfaces with other disciplines.
• Resolve technical and constructability issues.
• Manage mechanical contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, schedule, and HSE.
• Identify project risks, delays, and site constraints.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Ensure timely closure of defects, NCRs, and punch-list items.
• Coordinate documentation, training, and project handover.
• Monitor progress, risks, changes, and report key project issues.
