Job summary

Khazna Data Centers is seeking a Manager - Design Mechanical to lead multi-international data center design efforts from concept to completion. You will supervise a multi-disciplinary team, set design standards, and coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with company goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, at least 7 years’ experience in data center or mission-critical projects, and strong English communication for client-facing interactions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select suitable plots for new Data Centers globally.
• Coordinate with government and local authorities to obtain technical approvals.
• Lead and provide technical direction during project meetings.
• Resolve design and technical conflicts between contractors and consultants.
• Develop concept designs, equipment sizing, and supporting calculations.
• Act as the key technical contact for clients and lead technical discussions.
• Support RFP/Bid processes by responding to customer technical questionnaires.
• Guide the design team to meet quality, performance, and delivery expectations.
• Lead contractor RFPs/frameworks and review designs for code compliance.
• Review engineering calculations, equipment specifications, and system layouts.

We are seeking a Manager - Design Mechanical to plan, manage and deliver project activities on multiple international projects. Oversee the multi-disciplinary design team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure projects align with company goals. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Evaluate and select suitable plots for new Data Centers globally.
• Coordinate with government and local authorities to obtain technical approvals.
• Lead and provide technical direction during project meetings.
• Resolve design and technical conflicts between contractors and consultants.
• Develop concept designs, equipment sizing, and supporting calculations.
• Act as the key technical contact for clients and lead technical discussions.
• Support RFP/Bid processes by responding to customer technical questionnaires.
• Guide the design team to meet quality, performance, and delivery expectations.
• Lead contractor RFPs/frameworks and review designs for code compliance.

• Ensure drawings, specifications, and site works comply with international standards.
• Supervise and develop junior engineers while supporting day-to-day technical decisions.
• Monitor budgets, verify consultant/contractor invoices, and report financial variances.
