Job summary

Khazna Data Centers is seeking a Manager – Human Rights & Social Impact to join the ESG Program Management Department to develop and implement the company’s human rights and social impact framework across operations, supply chain, and expansion activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, sustainability, ESG, human rights, business, or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification or professional certification in ESG, human rights, or compliance is an advantage.
  • 7–10 years of experience in Human Rights, ESG, Sustainability, Compliance, or Risk & Governance.
  • Experience in human rights due diligence, supply chain risk management, and worker welfare initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ESG and supplier assessment platforms such as EcoVadis, Sedex, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of international human rights and ESG frameworks (UNGPs, OECD, IFC, CSRD/ESRS).
  • Experience working in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environments with Legal, Procurement, HR, HSE, and project teams.
  • Strong understanding of responsible business practices, labour standards, and social impact principles.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, coordination, and the ability to influence and drive compliance across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of Khazna's Human Rights and Social Impact framework across operations, supply chain, and expansion projects.
  • Coordinate human rights due diligence, including risk assessments, issue identification, monitoring, and remediation tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with international human rights, modern slavery, and supply chain due diligence requirements.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into operational processes and contractual obligations.
  • Integrate human rights requirements into supplier onboarding, contractor management, and procurement practices.
  • Assess and monitor human rights risks across suppliers, contractors, and high-risk geographies, including conducting supplier audits.
  • Support the implementation of worker wellbeing standards and collaborate with HSE and project teams to promote safe and ethical working conditions.
  • Coordinate Social Impact Assessments (SIAs), community needs assessments, and stakeholder engagement activities for development projects.
  • Monitor community-related risks and support engagement with local communities, NGOs, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the investigation, tracking, and resolution of human rights incidents, grievances, and remediation actions.
  • Maintain governance documentation, audit evidence, and records to support compliance reviews and due diligence requests.
  • Act as the central coordination point for cross-functional human rights and social impact initiatives involving Legal, HR, Procurement, HSE, Engineering, and international teams.
  • Prepare reports on human rights risks, social impact performance, implementation progress, and corrective actions for management and external stakeholders.
  • Support external ESG and human rights assessments, including data collection, evidence compilation, and tracking improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor budgets, implement policies and procedures, and contribute to strengthening Khazna's ESG and responsible business practices through risk-based implementation.

We are seeking a Manager – Human Rights & Social Impact to join our ESG Program Management Department to support the development and implementation of Khazna’s human rights and social impact framework across operations, supply chain, and expansion activities.
