Job summary

Jumeirah Mina Al Salam in Dubai is seeking a Manager – Events and Groups to lead planning of conferences, meetings and large-scale events, coordinating logistics, vendors, and client teams to deliver exceptional experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and at least five years in a hospitality role, with strong communication, relationship-building and time-management skills. The company offers extensive benefits and a tax-free AED salary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating conferences, meetings, and events, ensuring all logistics, schedules, and operational requirements are effectively managed.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to gather event requirements, provide updates, coordinate services, and ensure successful event delivery.
• Support venue selection, event setups, transportation, accommodation arrangements, and guest services to create seamless event experiences.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring event budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
• Provide on‑site event support, oversee operations, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of client and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain event documentation, calendars, and records, while participating in post‑event evaluations and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Assist in planning and coordinating conferences, meetings, and events, ensuring all logistics, schedules, and operational requirements are effectively managed.

• Minimum 5 of experience in a similar hospitality role.
