Job summary

Talents Tide in Dubai seeks an experienced Manager Data Ingestion and Governance Technologies to lead enterprise data strategies, including MDM, data governance tools, and real-time ingestion platforms. You will design data fabrics/meshes, build CI/CD for data workflows, and enable AI governance initiatives, collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver on time and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field; Masters preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in data engineering or governance within financial services or regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with MDM, data governance tools, and data ingestion architectures.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience building data as a product and using DataOps tools like Apache Airflow and Jenkins.

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Manager Data Ingestion and Governance Technologies to lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide data strategies. This role will play a critical part in shaping our organization's data foundation, driving efficiency, and enabling advanced analytics through robust ingestion and governance platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the organizations data ingestion and governance technologies strategy.
• Implement and manage platforms such as Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance Tools, Data Virtualization, Data Masking, and both batch and real-time/streaming data ingestion systems.
• Enable seamless data access through Data Fabric or Data Mesh principles.
• Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Create structured datasets for LLM (Large Language Model) training and AI applications.
• Ensure smooth integration of data platforms with enterprise systems.
• Drive adoption of technologies and provide training across teams.
• Lead the delivery of AI-powered solutions to support business functions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to align initiatives with business goals.
• Oversee complex data projects and cross-functional teams to deliver within timelines and budget.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• 810 years of experience in data engineering or governance roles within financial services or similar regulated industries.
• Deep hands-on experience with platforms such as:
• Informatica MDM and Data Governance
• CA Data Masking
• Talend, IBM DataStage, Confluent
• Apache Kafka, Cloudera, Spark
• Proven expertise in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Strong background in building data as a product and using DataOps tools like Apache Airflow and Jenkins.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
