Role Overview

The Manager Construction is responsible for leading fabrication construction execution across complex offshore and onshore projects while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client expectations. This role supports project success by coordinating engineering, construction, commissioning, QA/QC, and subcontractor performance while maintaining productivity, budget control, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate detailed engineering and construction activities across Greenfield and Brownfield project environments in line with project management expectations
• Support the Project Manager in delivering fabrication construction scope safely, efficiently, and within schedule
• Ensure project schedules are followed and provide regular progress reporting to project leadership
• Coordinate all construction activities, subcontractor work, and craft execution across project sites
• Enforce company safety policies and ensure full compliance with HSE procedures and safe work practices
• Ensure all construction work meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications
• Resolve inter-craft interface issues quickly and effectively in accordance with approved technical requirements
• Liaise with regulatory authorities for inspections, approvals, and compliance verification
• Control and maintain records of time and material receipts, workforce reporting, and time sheets
• Report project concerns, risks, and operational challenges to the Project Manager for timely action
• Audit company and subcontractor QA/QC procedures to ensure full compliance and quality assurance
• Prepare, document, and issue periodic construction progress reports to project management
• Coordinate commissioning test work and ensure smooth handover between construction and commissioning teams
• Monitor and document communications with crafts and subcontractors regarding technical issues and site execution
• Compile and manage documentation related to QA/QC and project compliance requirements
• Support the Project Manager with change management and scope variation control
• Manage employee performance through coaching, assessment, and continuous workforce development
• Lead implementation and compliance of all company policies and procedures across the construction team
• Ensure mandatory training completion for all employees and supervisors within the project team

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education and relevant experience
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience with at least 3 years in a Construction Manager role
• Experience managing at least one major EPC, fabrication, or offshore construction project
• Strong knowledge of detailed work planning processes and construction execution procedures
• Good understanding of lump sum business models and commercial construction delivery
• Experience with modular fabrication and large industrial construction environments
• Strong leadership and decision‑making skills in fast‑paced project execution settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client, contractor, and stakeholder management
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally based on project requirements
