Alliance Gulf Transport & Construction L.L.C - ALGT invites a dedicated Workshop Coordinator to join our fleet maintenance team. You will organize daily workshop activities, plan preventive maintenance and oversee repairs across trucks and heavy equipment, coordinating with mechanics, technicians, and external providers.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Formación

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• Technical certification in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily workshop activities, vehicle servicing, and equipment maintenance.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
• Follow up with mechanics, technicians, and external service providers to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Monitor vehicle breakdowns, maintenance progress, and equipment availability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, service reports, and repair histories.
• Coordinate spare parts requirements and follow up on availability.
• Coordinate with transport and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and operational requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports and monitor workshop performance.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Technical certification in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance will be an advantage.

Experience and Skills:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in workshop coordination or fleet maintenance.
• Experience in the transport, construction, or heavy equipment industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance jobs and prioritize urgent repairs.
• Good computer skills and experience maintaining service records and reports.
• A valid UAE driving licence will be an advantage.
