Job summary

Al Sahraa Group is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator (Equipment / Yard) in Abu Dhabi to oversee preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for heavy equipment, vehicles, lifting gear, and yard assets supporting logistics and operations.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy equipment maintenance coordination, familiarity with ERP/SAP/CMMS systems, and UAE experience. You will coordinate with technicians and vendors, ensure HSE compliance, and manage spare parts and records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance coordination.
• Experience with fleet maintenance, workshop operations, or yard equipment maintenance.
• Experience with ERP/SAP/CMMS or similar systems.
• UAE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and workshop operations.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Track equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, service reports, and equipment history.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
• Arrange inspections, certifications, and testing of lifting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, PTW, and LOTO procedures.
• Prepare maintenance reports and KPI updates.
• Support fleet and heavy equipment maintenance operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance coordination.
• Experience in fleet maintenance, workshop operations, or yard equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance.
• Experience with spare parts planning and inventory control.
• Good knowledge of OEM maintenance procedures.
• Experience with ERP, SAP, CMMS, or maintenance management systems.
• Oil & Gas, Construction, Marine, Offshore, Mining, or Heavy Equipment industry experience preferred.
• UAE experience preferred.
