Job summary

Job Description / Role:

Apparel Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for retail and corporate assets. This role involves leading a team of technicians, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the operational efficiency of facilities through preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians across trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, AV, etc.).
• Assign and monitor daily maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct on-site inspections and guide teams on best practices and safety compliance.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all retail and corporate assets.
• Ensure timely execution of repairs, installations, and servicing for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and AV systems.
• Monitor material usage, elevate spare part requirements, and minimize service downtime.
• Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors for outsourced repair and installation work.
• Review service quality, validate job completion, and follow up on warranty or defect-related issues.
• Utilize CMMS or internal maintenance systems to track job requests, team performance, and inventory movement.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, equipment history, and safety inspection reports.
• Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on maintenance KPIs, service turnaround, and incident logs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards as per company policies and local regulations.
• Liaise with Brand Operations, Projects, Admin, and Procurement teams to plan store openings, fit-outs, and technical upgrades.
• Participate in project handovers, inspections, and testing of newly installed systems.

Experience Required:

• 4–6 years of experience in maintenance operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades (MEP, AV, carpentry).
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and emergency response protocol.

Education Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
