Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer specialized in electrical systems for our UAE operations. You will develop and implement robust maintenance plans across multiple facilities, ensuring reliability and safety while coordinating with maintenance and operations teams.

The role requires extensive leadership, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to manage spare parts inventories and training programs. Excellent communication and a proactive, safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-12 years relevant maintenance experience as an engineer in the same discipline.
• 5 years in maintenance within the Oil & Gas industry at a supervisory level.
• Knowledge of HSSE and other relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to use common software for planning and reporting.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans and strategies for electrical systems and equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency across facilities (AR Site Terminal, GA Terminal, and Hail).
• Ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt production or compromise safety.
• Develop and maintain spare parts inventory and budget planning.
• Coordinate with OP-MA section regarding manpower and resources to ensure timely job completion.
• Identify training needs and establish targets for electrical section staff; implement on-the-job training per policy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments and external entities (Contractors, Service Providers) with high ethical standards.
• Monitor stock and usage levels of spares, consumables, and materials to ensure availability and replenishment.
• Provide leadership to the electrical team by setting objectives, managing performance, and developing staff.

"* Developing and implementing effective maintenance plans and strategies for electrical systems and

equipment to ensure their reliability and efficiency across facilities, AR Site Terminal, GA Terminal, and

Hail.

• Ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production or compromise safety.




• Developing and maintaining a spare parts inventory and Budget Planning.




• Coordinate with the respective OP-MA section regarding the availability of manpower and resources,

ensuring that jobs are completed on time.

• Identify the training needs and establish targets for all the Jobs in the electrical section under direct

supervision and implement the approved on-the-job training properly in accordance with the company

training and development system policy and procedure and development programs of Staffs within the

section.

• Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal Departments & external

entities such as Contractors, Service Providers, etc. with highest standards of business ethics, whilst

promptly attending to all critical issues in order to ensure the services required by the organization are

delivered in the most effective manner.

• Monitor stock and usage levels of spares, consumables and materials to ensure that items are available to

meet requirements and communicate status to respective section in order to facilitate timely

replenishment of stocks.

• Provide effective leadership to building the electrical team–setting individual objectives, managing

performance, developing and motivating Staff–in order to maximise Subordinate and departmental

performance."
