Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance planning and upgrades across power generation, water production and plant distribution networks. The role requires hands-on leadership over rectifiers, HV switchgear, transformers and related systems to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.

• 15+ years in heavy-duty turbine combined cycle power plants.
• 5+ years in supervisory role; experience in aluminium smelting with rectiformers.
• Experience with HV distribution, grid interconnections, and RO/desal plant maintenance.

To manage and handle the electrical maintenance services Technical Enhancements Conversion Modification Upgrades and repairs to enhance reliability and availability of electrical equipment and systems associated with the Power Generation Balance of Plant Water Production Potlines Rectiformers and Plant electrical distribution network including external agencies as applicable in a cost effective manner Enhance EHS practices and safety culture on a continuous basis Improve and facilitate effective communication links with others to improve customer services Ensure that all Electrical maintenance planning activities in the Energy area including Rectifiers Grid connected inter connectors and Power distribution areas are properly coordinated planned monitored controlled closed through efficient management of established key performance indicators in order to optimize plant availability reliability maintenance costs and Spares Inventory

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in a heavy-duty turbine combined cycle power plant, out of which 5 years in similar supervisory position along with work experience in Aluminium Smelter with rectiformer controls and plant-wide high voltage electrical distribution.
• Hands-on experience with combined cycle power generators, high voltage distribution systems, power conversion rectifiers, high voltage switchgears, electrical protection systems, power transformers, reverse osmosis/desal plant maintenance.
• Shall have good experience and knowledge on interconnection with national power Grid procedures and agreements.

Skills:

• Writing maintenance procedures, contract specifications and preparation of training programmes. Strong budgeting skills. Ability to think analytically through technical problems and derive cost effective solutions.
• Good communication skills, planning, organisational and decision making skills, ability to work under pressure and meet rigid deadlines. Strategic thinking and foresight.
• Ability to nurture the morale and cordial relations among fellow team members.
• Dealing external and internal customers to prepare SLA and agreements to meet company’s objectives.
