Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join The Bay outlet. You will deliver food and beverage service with a focus on guest delight, maintain accurate mise en place, and operate the POS system to process orders in a luxury hotel setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years’ experience in high-volume dining, a refined sense of service, and the ability to multitask during busy periods. The role supports MOHG standards and guest satisfaction across the venue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ waiter/waitress experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Luxury hotel experience preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work long hours and multitask.
• Knowledge of fine dining service procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Explain The Bay concept and food & beverage offerings to guests.
• Maintain mise en place from shift to shift and during service.
• Operate POS to process food and beverage orders.
• Deliver service that meets guest requirements with courtesy and efficiency.
• Upsell services and products to guests to enhance revenue.
• Handle MOHG Gift cards and other non-cash payments.
• Ensure dishes are presented in line with hotel standards.
• Assist in stocking and stock rotation as required by the outlet.
• Communicate guest preferences and allergies to the team.
