Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai invites applications for a Waiter/Waitress in The Bay. You will deliver timely food and beverage service, explain The Bay concepts, and ensure guests enjoy an exemplary dining experience.

You should have 2+ years as a waiter/waitress, strong guest service, and familiarity with POS systems in a luxury setting. Join our team for a focused, hospitality-driven career in a premier Dubai hotel.

Competenze

• High School qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant with top levels of service preferred.
• Luxury hotel experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as waiter/waitress.
• Ability to understand guest needs and deliver superior service.
• Ability to work long hours with operational excellence.
• Familiar with POS and cashiering procedures.
• Knowledge of Fine Dining and casual dining service procedures.
• Basic MS Office skills preferred.

Mansioni

• Understand The Bay concept and explain offerings to guests.
• Ensure mise en place is completed each shift and during service.
• Operate POS system to process orders.
• Deliver service by understanding guest requirements.
• Up-sell services and products to guests.
• Process MOHG Gift cards and other non-cash payments.
• Handle billing according to hotel standards.
• Ensure dishes are presented per standards.
• Assist in stocking and arranging linen, beverages, dried goods.
• Communicate guest preferences to superiors.
• Be a team player and support colleagues.
