Job summary

Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, a Forbes Five‑Star luxury property, seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead Peacock Alley, the Cigar Lounge, and Waqud Café, delivering exceptional guest experiences and refined service.

You will drive revenue growth, manage budgets and staff, and ensure luxury standards across all venues in line with Hilton and Waldorf Astoria practices.

Qualifications

• Previous F&D leadership in luxury venues.
• Strong beverage knowledge including premium spirits.
• Excellent cigar knowledge and market knowledge about cigar offering in the city.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the business plan and financial objectives for the venues, balancing revenue growth, profitability, guest satisfaction, and team engagement.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Revenue and Culinary teams to develop and execute marketing initiatives, promotions, and seasonal activations that increase guest traffic and revenue.
• Manage venue budgets, forecasts, payroll, operating expenses, inventory, and cost controls effectively.
• Review business results regularly, including revenue, covers, labour productivity, guest satisfaction, market share, and profit margins, taking proactive action to improve performance.
• Optimise revenue through effective seating strategies, upselling opportunities, menu engineering, and enhanced guest experiences.
• Identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue through special events, beverage promotions, partnerships, and outlet activations.
• Drive cigar sales and profitability through strong product knowledge, effective upselling, appropriate stock management, and the creation of premium cigar experiences and activations that enhance guest engagement and revenue.
• Lead the team in delivering Forbes Five-Star and Waldorf Astoria luxury service standards.
• Ensure Team Members provide personalised, intuitive, anticipated and memorable guest experiences at every interaction.
• Develop strong relationships with regular guests, VIPs, residents, and corporate clients to increase guest loyalty and repeat business.
