Job summary

Kerzner International's Atlantis The Palm in Dubai is seeking a Sous Chef to assist the Chef de Cuisine in leading and organizing kitchen operations to the highest standards. You will ensure proper hygiene, manage stock, coordinate between departments and train staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Catering or 5 years in a 5‑star international chain with 1–2 years in a similar role, and Western cuisine experience for high‑volume outlets.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Catering or 5 years’ experience in a 5-star international chain.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar Sous Chef role.
• Experience in Western cuisine for high-volume restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and organize kitchen operations to the highest standards.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation in your areas.
• Maintain adequate stocks of working materials.
• Coordinate between departments and provide training.
• Direct, supervise and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
