Job summary

InterContinental Fujairah Resort is seeking a MICE Sales Manager - Wedding Specialist to drive revenue across weddings, MICE, and events, with emphasis on Indian destination weddings and international markets. You will build relationships, manage opportunities from enquiry to handover, and maximize overall event revenue in line with the resort's commercial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in hotel sales, preferably in MICE, weddings, or events.
• Strong business development and account management experience.
• Knowledge of destination weddings, especially the Indian wedding market.
• Excellent spoken and written English; strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for MICE, weddings, and events.
• Acquire new business through corporate accounts, wedding planners, event agencies, DMCs, associations, and other strategic partners.
• Drive destination wedding business, focusing on Indian weddings and GCC markets.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry to handover: proposals, contracts, delivery.
• Build and maintain client relationships to generate repeat business.
• Maximize revenue from rooms, F&B, venue rental, and wedding functions.
• Work with Revenue Management and the Director of Sales & Marketing on pricing and opportunities.
• Maintain active sales pipeline, regular calls and client visits, roadshows and events.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Events, Banquets, Culinary, F&B, Finance, Rooms, and other departments to ensure contracting and delivery of confirmed business.
