InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support our Employee Restaurant and help keep kitchen, equipment and back‑of‑house areas clean, safe and ready for daily operations.

The role requires physical work, a commitment to cleanliness, and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Join our international luxury brand and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Primary or high school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg) plus bending/kneeling.
• Previous stewarding, cleaning or kitchen experience is a plus.
• Strong emphasis on cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Ability to work in a physically active environment.
• Willingness to support the team wherever needed.
• Reliable, hardworking and team‑oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils and working areas.
• Keep Employee Restaurant kitchen and surrounding areas clean and hygienic.
• Prepare kitchen equipment for daily use.
• Clean and store equipment after use.
• Support receiving, handling and storage of supplies.
• Maintain clean and organised storage areas.
• Handle waste and linen safely and correctly.
• Follow hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support the culinary team during busy meal periods.
• Take care of kitchen equipment and report any damage or safety concerns.
