Job summary

Banyan Tree Dubai is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all hotel and residential building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.

You will lead a team of engineers, manage budgets, implement preventive maintenance, and drive energy-saving initiatives while coordinating with other departments to ensure guest comfort and seamless service.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, fire system and electrical issues.
• Experience with building automation and facilities management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and operation of hotel and residential systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
• Lead and mentor engineers and maintenance staff to high performance.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Develop and manage the annual engineering budget and energy-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors to ensure guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
