Job summary

Banyan Tree Dubai is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to supervise and perform installation, commissioning, operation, and preventive maintenance of complex systems across guest areas and back-of-house spaces.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls faults, ensure safety and energy efficiency, and lead technicians to deliver high-quality service in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of kitchen and laundry equipment, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance related to food service and laundry operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Ensure proper installation, alignment, connection, and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Plan preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and energy use.
• Monitor and maintain indoor air quality in guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, and public areas.
• Respond promptly to urgent HVAC service requests.
• Supervise HVAC technicians and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, energy-efficiency standards.
