Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced hotel sales professional to drive revenue through proactive opportunity handling, relationship building, and timely turnover for service delivery.

You will lead day-to-day sales activities, collaborate with off-property channels, manage proposals and contracts, and develop lifelong customer partnerships to achieve sales objectives and long-term value for the property.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
• 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels to coordinate sales efforts.
• Builds relationships with customers to enable future bookings and manages sales calls.
• Identifies new business and closes opportunities based on market conditions.
• Provides turnover to Event Management.
• Executes and supports proposal writing and contract preparation.
• Delivers excellent customer service and supports loyalty.

Education

2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
