Job summary

Al Zorah Beach Resort in Ajman invites a results-driven Front Office Supervisor to lead shifts, oversee guest arrivals and departures, and ensure service excellence within a luxury five-star environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years in luxury Front Office, including supervisory experience, and fluent English. Knowledge of Opera PMS and upselling strategies is highly valued. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Front Office experience in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or shift-leading capacity.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Advanced working knowledge of Opera PMS, room inventory management, cashiering and Front Office procedures.
• Proven experience leading shifts, coaching colleagues and managing escalated guest situations.
• Strong understanding of occupancy management, room categories, upselling and Front Office revenue opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front Office shifts, ensuring effective deployment of colleagues and smooth coordination of arrivals, departures and daily operations.
• Set shift priorities, conduct briefings and maintain clear communication across the Front Office team.
• Supervise and coach Front Office Agents, providing regular feedback and identifying training needs.
• Monitor service delivery, guest feedback and operational performance, taking corrective action where required.
• Take ownership of escalated guest concerns, exercising sound judgement and coordinating appropriate service recovery.
• Oversee room allocations, inventory accuracy, VIP arrangements and special requests in collaboration with Reservations and Housekeeping.
• Review cashiering transactions, billing adjustments and shift closures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor room availability, occupancy and upselling performance to support departmental revenue objectives.
• Ensure accurate guest profiles, operational records and shift handovers within Opera PMS.
• Identify recurring operational issues and recommend improvements to service procedures and team efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with guest privacy, security, safety and established luxury service standards.
• Support Front Office leadership with performance monitoring, colleague development and departmental initiatives.
