Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is seeking an Events Sales Executive to join the Sales - Conference Centre team. You will drive revenue through client contacts, maintain planning information, and represent the hotel in all client interactions with warmth and professionalism.

Responsibilities include event planning oversight, timely reporting, and follow-up on accounts, while cross-selling MO properties as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality management required.
• At least 2 years solid experience in luxury hospitality or related field.
• Strong guest-focused approach and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Results-driven and goal-oriented with excellent English communication.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell to meet personal and team revenue goals through client contacts and planning.
• Maintain an up-to-date planning information portfolio for sales and planning.
• Represent the hotel in all client contacts with warmth and professional demeanor.
• Prepare information-sharing communications to clients and hotel departments.
• Ensure final preparations for events to meet client expectations and planning details.
• Complete reports for the Director of Groups & Events.
• Maintain organized event files recording key information for continuity.
• Follow up with clients and settle balances and deposits.
