Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled F&B Supervisor - Dining Operations to lead dining teams, coordinate service, and uphold luxury guest care during shifts at the DIFC property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to ensure teamwork and optimal guest service.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating, service standards, safety, and guest well-being.
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities.
• Set up required supplies and tools before service.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are cleaned.
• Submit end-of-shift security procedures, including locking doors where applicable.
• Inspect storage areas for cleanliness and organization.
• Verify FIFO stock rotation practices.
• Complete scheduled inventories.
• Monitor stock levels and requisition necessary supplies.
• Submit work orders for required maintenance repairs.
• Complete other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
• Assist management with employee hiring activities.
• Support training and scheduling of team members.
• Participate in employee evaluations.
• Assist with counseling and disciplinary processes when required.
• Motivate and coach employees to strengthen performance.
• Inspect employee grooming and attire and address deficiencies.
• Serve as a professional role model.
• Act as a first point of contact within the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door Policy process.
• Develop positive working relationships across the team.
• Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Help colleagues work toward shared service and operational goals.
• The Food and Beverage Supervisor maintains visibility over supplies required for daily service. Scheduled inventories must be completed accurately, and necessary items should be requisitioned to support uninterrupted operations.
• Maintaining established quality expectations is a continuous responsibility. The supervisor identifies and recommends improvements that can strengthen organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost control.
