Job summary

Ennismore, a leading lifestyle and hospitality group, is launching Delano Dubai at Bluewaters Island and seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager for Blue Door. You will support the Restaurant Manager, lead on-floor service, and ensure memorable guest experiences in a vibrant luxury setting.

Based in Dubai, you will drive service excellence, coach a diverse team, and collaborate with Culinary and Bar teams to optimize revenue while upholding safety and standards. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or assistant management experience within a luxury hotel, lifestyle property or elevated restaurant.
• Confident and engaging leader with strong coaching and communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness including revenue, average spend, upselling and cost control.
• Strong food & beverage knowledge and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Naturally warm, personable and confident in building relationships with guests.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth daily operation of Blue Door, maintaining high service standards.
• Lead shifts and oversee the restaurant in the Restaurant Manager’s absence.
• Maintain a strong floor presence with seamless service and guest engagement.
• Coach and motivate the team to create a positive working environment.
• Conduct daily reservations briefings, VIPs, and service priorities.
• Collaborate with Culinary and Bar teams for seamless service.
• Drive revenue through table optimization and upselling.
• Build relationships with hotel guests, regulars and Dubai residents.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery confidently.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, inventory and cost control.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and operational standards.
• Support special events and restaurant experiences.
