Job summary

Delano Dubai is seeking an experienced supervisor to uphold the highest standards of service at Blue Door on Bluewaters Island. You will lead shifts in the Restaurant Manager's absence, maintain a strong floor presence, and ensure personalized guest engagement.

You will coach the team, drive upselling and revenue, coordinate with Culinary and Bar, and build lasting relationships with hotel guests and Dubai residents while maintaining food safety and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or assistant management experience in a luxury hotel or elevated restaurant.
• Strong floor knowledge with exemplary service standards.
• Confident leader with coaching and communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness including revenue and cost control.
• Warm, personable and able to build guest relationships.
• Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support smooth daily operation of Blue Door with high service standards.
• Lead shifts and cover Restaurant Manager's absence.
• Maintain strong floor presence and personalized guest engagement.
• Coach and motivate team to foster a positive working environment.
• Brief daily reservations, VIPs, menu updates and priorities.
• Collaborate with Culinary and Bar teams for seamless service.
• Drive revenue through table optimization and upselling.
• Build relationships with hotel guests, regulars and Dubai residents.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery confidently.
• Support staffing, scheduling, inventory and cost control.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and standards.
• Support special events and restaurant experiences.
