Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Bellman to deliver warm, efficient, and personalized service to guests from arrival to departure. You will assist with luggage, escort guests to rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities, ensuring a memorable guest experience aligned with luxury standards.

Ideal candidates have experience in luxury hotels, strong English, and a guest-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bellman, Bellboy, Porter, Concierge Assistant, or in a similar hotel position is preferred.
• Experience in a 5-star or luxury resort is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Friendly, confident, and guest-oriented personality.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced resort environment.
• Physically fit and able to handle guest luggage.
• Strong teamwork and customer-service skills.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with loading, unloading, and transporting luggage.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain room facilities, services, and hotel amenities.
• Provide accurate information about the hotel, restaurants, pools, spa, activities, and other facilities.
• Assist guests with transportation arrangements, taxis, and airport transfers when required.
• Deliver luggage, messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance, lobby, bell desk, and luggage storage areas.
• Assist guests with valet parking procedures where applicable. Handle guest requests professionally and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other departments.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, operating hours, and local attractions.
• Handle guest belongings carefully and follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with the hotel's grooming and uniform standards.
• Provide personalized service to VIP guests and support special occasions when required.
• Promote hotel facilities, activities, and services when appropriate.
• Report maintenance issues, guest concerns, or safety hazards to the relevant department.
• Follow all hotel policies, health and safety procedures, and security standards.
