Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Bellman to deliver warm, personalized service on arrival, during the stay, and at departure. You will escort guests, assist with luggage, explain facilities, and coordinate with departments to ensure a memorable guest experience in a luxury setting.

You will assist with transportation, handle VIP requests, keep the entrance areas pristine, and maintain knowledge of hotel hours and local attractions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bellman, Bellboy, Porter, Concierge, Assistant, or similar hotel position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure
• Assist guests with loading, unloading and transporting luggage
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain room facilities, services and hotel amenities
• Provide accurate information about hotel restaurants, pools, spa, activities and facilities
• Assist guests with transportation arrangements, taxis and airport transfers when required
• Deliver luggage, messages, packages and other items to guest rooms promptly
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance, lobby, bell desk and luggage storage areas
• Assist guests with valet parking procedures where applicable
• Handle guest requests professionally and follow up to ensure satisfaction
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and other departments
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, hours and local attractions
• Handle guest belongings carefully and follow lost and found procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with grooming and uniform standards
• Provide personalized service to VIP guests and support special occasions when required
• Promote hotel facilities, activities and services when appropriate
• Report maintenance issues, guest concerns or safety hazards to the relevant department
• Follow all hotel policies, health and safety procedures and security standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bellman Bellboy Porter Concierge Assistant or in a similar hotel position is preferred.
• Experience in a 5-star or luxury resort is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English additional languages are an advantage.
• Friendly confident and guest-oriented personality.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced resort environment.
• Physically fit and able to handle guest luggage.
• Strong teamwork and customer-service skills.
• Flexible to work shifts weekends and public holidays
