Job summary

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai seeks a Housekeeping Attendant to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of guest areas and back-of-house spaces. You will respond to guest requests, perform turndown service, and maintain high standards of hospitality within a luxury setting.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or Certificate, prior experience in luxury hotels, a proactive guest-service mindset, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Certificate.
• Previous experience as Housekeeping Attendant within luxury hospitality, hotels and resorts.
• Proactive approach to handling guest requests.
• Passion for delivering personalized guest experiences and maintaining the highest service standards.
• Proficiency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of assigned blocks, corridors, back-of-house areas, stairways, lifts and pantries by routine cleaning duties.
• Collect scattered trash, replace soiled bedding and bathroom linen with fresh items, report odors to supervisor.
• Conduct deep cleaning in bathrooms, closets, furniture and align items properly.
• Attend guest calls, requests and complaints in assigned areas; provide turndown services as required and deliver/retrieve items.
• Follow replenishment standards by inspecting and replacing bathrobes, linen, tissue, amenities, hangers and blankets/pillows.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition to maximize lifespan.
