Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel DIFC in Dubai is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join the luxury kitchen team. You will assist in daily kitchen management, oversee menu quality, and work with the Executive Chef on new dishes.

Ideal candidates have proven Sous Chef experience in luxury hotels, strong leadership, ability to lead diverse teams, and flexibility for shifts. This role includes staff housing and extensive development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or equivalent setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Creative approach to menu development and food presentation.
• Ability to manage kitchen operations under pressure and coordinate diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen management and staff supervision.
• Execute and maintain menu quality and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and develop new dishes.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance skill levels.
• Monitor inventory and assist with stock control and ordering.
• Ensure consistent food preparation in line with luxury hospitality standards.
• Support maintaining efficient kitchen workflows during service hours.
